This past Sunday, July 16th, Bosniak American Association of Iowa and our community hosted our biggest event thus far in 2017, Peace March (Marš Mira) to Commemorate the 22nd Anniversary of Srebrenica Genocide.
Our team is eager to bring more events to the Bosniak American community in Iowa. Most of the events take time to plan and our team has already started talks about what to do next for the remainder of the calendar year.
To make all this happen, we are always looking for help from within the community.
Volunteers, ideas, critics and concerns will make us a better organization which will help us organize events that are bigger and better for our community as a whole. We would like to hear from each and every one of you. Tell us what you believe has been done right, what could of been done better, and as always, write about our downfalls.
Include ways you can help, as well as ideas of what kind of events you would like to see in the State of Iowa.
